My Wife and her Grand Caravan were hit today by a Mitsubishi Mirage.
She is ok, a little sore in her back and neck. Laying down right now.
:nurse:
Here is the vehicle that hit her:

The amazing aspect of this accident is how well the Dodge Grand Caravan stood up to the hit. She was stopped on the road due to a car trying to make a left turn across traffic in front of her. The driver behind her, didn't even brake and probably hit her at about 40-45mph. Luckily for him and his girlfriend they were wearing their seatbelts AND the airbags popped to save them both from the windshield and dash.

Firecrew with Sally. These guys teach my cub scouts fire safety.

The young man had just 'earned' his driver's license last week, imagine that.

first of all, i'm glad she's ok !!!!

those minvans well built are what has saved chrysler, their best selling vehicle........

Glad everyone is okay..... It is amazing how some wrecks with so little damage can kill and others smashed all the hell, people walk out without a scratch.

I'm glad to hear that she is well!!

Glad everyone is safe and unharmed!!!

The van held up remarkably well!!!!:rock::rock:

Very glad to hear she's doing well... being at a dealership with a body shop I have seen some vans take a beating... they do hold up very well.

Damn, I don't have kids, but my Brother has one, and she's got her permit right now. Kinda scares me.

Glad your Wife is OK!

Now you can scrap that mini and get her an SRT

Trust me, I've tried.
She's already got slotted rotors and performance brake pads, along with NKG plugs and K&N filter. She went thru the front rotors in 25K miles; tires and pads were completely gone.
Porting her heads next.
She won't let me mess with the exhaust - says when I do it gets too loud. lol

Glad to hear all are well Dave. Your not having good vehicle luck lately:(
It could have been a lot worse. She was on her way to pick up all of the boys from School, so none were in the van when it was hit. The van is drivable. The dog wasn't in the van either. She would have been through the front windshield.

My truck could have been much worse too. If I had stock pistons, not the present Diamonds, it could have grenaded the whole engine. Now, I just upgrade the engine even more. Learning more and more as I go, from this and everyone online. I was an Aero Eng in college so the flowing and porting of the heads lately is very interesting to me; relates directly to fluid mechanics. A local guy bought a new Super Flow 600 head flow machine. I spent a good part of the weekend going through the manuals with him. Many considerations when flowing and porting heads.

Glad to hear everyone is O.K.!!!
I too can testify to the integrity of a Caravan!!:)

It's nice to know everyone is OK.....
