Derek (lbstone) Scott (ntw0rk) Todd (SRTINCT) Talking shop...

Same crew but add in Dominick and his woman joing the fray.

America's strongest man lbstone. I think in this case, the camera took off some of his size. The guy is a monster. His truck sounds tough as well. I got to follow him home on my way back. We were cruising very fast. I let off when I got close to him. 06's are faster see... Plus, I am not a cop. ;)

nystev on the phone with his agent for his next photo shoot. Joemags... just a FYI. :D

Next are a few from the other cars that were there... Trucks were the big hit IMHO.

SHOCKEY IN TRAINING FOR NEXT SEASON... (Vader actually - Omar) I love you brother....

Shots from Hooters - Thanks to lbstone for setting up the lot next door for us. His truck is the one with the shaved tailgate. I doubt he will be reaching between the tailgate and spoiler / wing to open it up. He may get the tips of his fingers through ;)

Thanks to all that attended....
TREKER - Scott
SRTINCT - Todd - (Thanks for making it, I know your sched was tight. It was great to meet you. Good luck with your exhaust issues. Justin is the man)

ntw0rk - Scott (What can I say??? It was am honor meeting you. Thanks for the cigar)

Dominick572 - Dom - (Loved the B&B system. Headers look beautiful)

Nycstev - Steve (Love your truck... The bed rug is very cool - Good luck with the Roe. Cant wait to see it.. You better let me drive it)

JimTeTe - jim (Sorry we did not get to chat too much. Your rig is awesome)

Rickspeed - Rick (Good luck on future mods and your OEM wheels. Get the stage II)

Stanimal - Stan (Thanks for making the trip on your tight sched bro. Gonna check Home Depot. If my yellow stickers are not here, you better call me to party up)

VaderSrt10 - Omar (Thanks for tatooing your name on your arm so we would never forget it again ;) Also... know I think you are a decent guy. Even though you are a Mets fan :p

lbstone - Derek (Thankfully you are on our side... I was just worried if anyone else got you mad, you might turn green and complete the transformation into the Hulk :D Seriously, thanks for everything. You are a great person and I enjoyed meeting you. Stop being so picky with your rig though. It looks AWESOME...)

Riff62 - Matt (Got a little time to chat with you two. Thanks for picking up the tab. I saw you didnt take my money... I am not mad, just dont be surprised when I show up to your party at the next GTG.)

FastSrt10 - Bryan (Thanks for making the trip bro.. Your truck is F-ing LOUD!!! Glad you had a good time... When you were leaving Hooters I was trying to get you to wait so I could video your burnout :burnout: See you at Matts in July.

I had a wonderful time. Got some great ideas for future mods, ate, drank, and was merry... I could only imagine a full VTCoA GTG with guys from across the country. Is it possible that we can do this? We have over 1700 members. Would 100 trucks be out of the question?

I think its very possible. I know the Nats are coming, but I am talking about a VTCoA only GTG. Make it our annual thing.. What you think guys? Pick out a central location and reserve a place with a big parking lot, track, lodging, good restaurants and detail center. Its an idea...

Enjoy the pics everyone. Prof... you inspired me. :)

Awesome pics, Scott. Thanks for sharing. Looks like everyone had a great time!!!!!

Lots of good looking trucks!!! You're like me, all the GTG's I've been to, I was the only '06 there. I take that back, at Brats, there was a QC NR for a few hours.

wow..how cool!

Thanks guys for sharing...its awesome seeing the vtcoa community getting together!

Great pics Scott!! BTW, did I mention how cool your name is?!!:p

It really was my honor to be able to attend this GTG! Like I said before, I owe a great big thanks to all of you for making my trip to New England that much better!!!

You guys and gals :rock: Seriously!

One more thing; I wanted to relate this funny story:

A few of us were hanging around Derek's rig talking truck (DUH!) and this fella walks up and takes a look in the engine compartment, looks around and says, "Now that's unique! Putting a Viper engine in a pickup truck!" The look on Derek's face was priceless!! Derek just kind of shrugged his {massive} shoulders, and nobody said anything for a couple of seconds. Well, those of you that know me should know that I wasn't about to leave it like that, so I said, "Yeah! So unique that the factory decided to put one in all of these." As I pointed to the other 8 trucks sitting there.
The guys says, "No they didn't! Dodge never did that!"
I said, "How much money you got?" (I don't think he would have had more than a 10 spot on him anyhow, so I felt it was a safe bet!:))
He says, "When did they do that?" I replied, "Oh just 2004 - 2006 model years. Take a look under the hood of one of these others that are open"
Then he commits this error, "Now why would they put a Viper engine in a pickup?!"
Derek is dumbfounded and says, "Why WOULDN'T they?!" And we all laughed!

He promptly walked away without saying anything else....
 It was pretty stinking funny, if you ask me!

I was standing right with you Scott during that.. That was great. What you didn't see is that whacko walk passed the trucks, turn the corner where the mother ship was waiting for him. What planet was that guy from? Or is that just typical of CT? :dontknow: :p ;) :D

Trek, great post dude. Love all the pics. Looks like it was a great time. Its really cool to see all those trucks lined up and the different mods everybody has. Also good idea to include a pic of Dom's GF......whats a GTG without a pretty girl in attendence!!! LOL .........oh yeah, where are the Hooters girls pics?

How about September 22, 2007? We are doing a motor rally to raise funds for cancer research from a famous Sports Bar (The Greene Turtle) in Annapolis MD, to another famous bar (Tiki Bar) in Solomons Island MD. It is about 50 miles and we are hosting a huge car show and party at the Tiki with bands, NASCARs, beer girls etc.

I know it won't attract a nationwide VTCOA membership, but we could get a good representation from the east coast!! Check out www.thegoc.org and click on the car cruise link on the top of the page.

Sounds good to me.... Why dont you start a thread to generate interest. That is a good idea to get not only the NE, but the entire east coast to a GTG. Plenty of time, kids back to school, weather cooling off a bit, it could work...

That way we can pull guys all the way from FLA and even from Canada.
