Doin it now in a buddy's tubbed LS truck and it's his daily. Did it once on another truck too. Besides, since when does your truck see significant street time?Spool on the street? I dunno....

I think it's probably a little more stress on the u-joints too, because of the shock that gets sent back up through the drivetrain during corning. But, these things are minimal compared to the stress put on parts during one hard launch at the strip. And Justin's tires are more likely to dry rot off than wear off from cornering with the spool. For the most part your tires will take the toll with a spool as they can't change speeds during cornering. The other weak leak would be the stress the axles take during said turns. Honestly think it would be fine other than tires wearing prematurely.
I've never tried to "shack" a camaro, or any other video. If you can post a video of you doing it, maybe we can give you some constructive feedback as to what you are doing wrong?spools are great for straight line but the truck would be squirrely in some spirited cornering! It would , most probably, break the backend loose constantly!! fun!! but dangerous and embarassing when you have a camaro in your rearview and can't shack him!!! just saying... lol
Ive still got mine if ya want it
