Guys I need to take some tools with me to help out Rice Eater and his caltracs

Can someone tell me what size wrench will fit the adjuster bar on the caltracs?

Thanks

You might want to PM Nowwhat, I know he carries the right wrenches with him when he goes to the track. I hope things are going well for you Tony, tell Joanne we said Hi.

Bill.

I remember the locking nut is 1 1/4"....bring all of your 7/8" and larger wrenches ;)

bring adjustable crescent wrenches, and a BIG press if you plan on taking out the bushing and putting a new one on!! If just installing, then your typical adjustable wrench, and leaf-spring removing tools :)

aw thanks stinker for starting the thread I was gonna tonight! I have a 7/8 and its definately bigger than that.....I'm sure adj crescents (big) would do it.....I gotta get some bigger tools!

Note: They are already installed just want to dial them in! I got the bushing out w/ a punch and sledge hammer! NOt easy but it can be done......put the leaf on a 4X4 board angle it and start beating the shit out of it! The first one took a little bit but once I figured out the technique I had the 2nd one out in under 5 min.

A 6" adjustable is all that you need....1 full turn past contact is the sweet spot....
