Hey guys,

Just installing my JMB CAI + Catchcan, all was going well until I had to remove the old IAT sensor and re-install it into Justins pipe. How the f@#k are you supposed to get them out?? I wiggled for ages but no good, was just about to cut the old piping until I got to it, therefore it would just drop out but decided against it.

I used pliers carefully, but obviously not carefully enough, it came out but the protecting head around the sensor itself broke, man I feel like a dumbshit lol. Now I'm stuck, what to do!?!?!? Can I install it as is? will the little blue sensor handle the air flow or will it "blow off"?? Superglue it the protecting case? My main concern is something flying off and getting sucked into the intake/engine. Please help........:(

Thanks,
Carl

Super glue it Carl...if it doesnt work you will get an immediate CEL.......I broke the connector on my former SRT8 almost 3 yrs ago while installing a CAI...the SRT8 had just come out and I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to get one...the super glue held up till the new sensor arrived..

Thanks mate, what is the CEL? If the engine light comes on, does that mean I've stuffed something? Would not super gluing it be OK, like having it how it is until I get a replacement?

Thanks mate, got it in after being super glued, seem pretty strong and well in place, luckily it was a clean break. I will still order a new one.
No CEL either. Man, it sounds a lot better inside the cab at mid-high+ rpms, I LOVE it! :) It was nice stock, now nicer. I also put the rad & fuse box dress up on. :p
