ok stretching the cone??? and amp doesnt get warm even when its been on for awhile is that normal?

You can tell your husband that it is often caused by not driving it hard enough from time to time to stretch out the fiber cone. It really needs stretching every time you use it.

well hubby sorta thought the same thing. i just wanted to get second opinions before he touched it. another question... is there a fuse for the amp? and what brand do u recomend that will work better and fit in that small space?

i'm not a stereo expert like some of these guys..can i suggest you start a thread under GENERAL DISCUSSION and introduce yourselves?,there are alot of great peeps on here! were kinda off the subject for this thread.
