NEED HELP!!

Cylinder #10 misfire...

May be a random anomaly....after you cleared it, did it come back ? If so, would check the injector and plug.

I was cleaning it and I may have hit the injector wire!! Are they that sensitive??:dontknow:

Which is the # 10 cylinder??

Off the top of my head, I think its the farthest cylinder on the passenger side........ As in the closest to the cab.

sounds like the plug wire got wet.. the injector would set a code for injector #10 circuit to high or open.
and they are correct pass side rear cylinder

I didnt know they were that sensitive!!! I wash my engine bay once a month with light water and soap. Guess I better be more careful..........

Thanks Red, I wasn't using any water just wipping her down, I mave have loosened a connection?? Do the wire connectors just snap together?

Just disconnet the battery for a couple of minutes and it resets everything ;)

How does it run? That is the code I threw for the number 3 (303). Pulled the plug and it lost the gap. But the truck was running very rough so I knew something was not right. If your truck is still running smooth then just reset it and see how it goes. Could have misfired once.

Seems to run fine?? I will disconect the Battery and see what happens.

Thanks

I have a ODBII code reader that I can clear codes with....Not a bad investment for the average garage monkey ;)

Otherwise, disconnecting the battery should work.

Disconected the Battery for 10 minutes, light has gone out and all seems to be OK. Maybe a freak thing??:dontknow:

Will drive her around some today and see if it stays off.

UPDATE

Well drove the truck around for about 2 hrs. Hit it hard a few times, no more SE light and runs great.

I will sleep better now!!:p
