ok - so all of you know what i have been doing to my truck over the past mth...

now that it is complete i took it to work today,... love the performance HATE THE SOUND " with the cutout closed "

currently i have Mopar Long Tubes Headers w/catless mid's and Mangaflow muffler

and i HATE it... it sounded good b4 the mods but after with the mopar haders and mids and removing the final 2 cat's it sounds like a Honda Civic Si Mugen exhaust :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

damm it sounds like SHIT man,... so if any one here with mopar headers and catless mids,.. has any sound clips of there setup that would be GREAT bc i need to fix this soon

and suggestion would be GREAT

i was thinking for the exhaust :

mopar headers / mopar catless mids/ elec cutouts / Stinkers " 2.5 INCH POWERSTICK MUFFLERS "

any comments are welcome

Hey bro whats up............ My truck has a euro tone to it, Not a real muscle car sound, But alot of vipers have that tone also. Hey bro dynomax super X muffler :) Hey there is a car show here soon at the base I am on, You should come down I'm going to post it forever one it supports the troops. When my truck is at idle it sounds like a camed v-8 but 3k up has a euro tone to it.

Not yet why........... never heard a factory viper sound like a 454 blown chevy or a stroked 383 or some shit, They have a european sound like lambos and other high end cars, trust me bro jason heffners shop was right by my house I know him and so does my brother very well, I have seen GTS's lambos and all other kind of highend cars. friend had a gts and didnt have a muscle car rumble behind it buddy.............. Are you drinking?????????????
 
I know what you gave for them.... I will match it if you want to get rid of them....

Got the Mopar Cat-Back, I want the Mopar Full Exhaust but I am putting the High Flow Cats in the Mids.

You should take a look at the Xlerator muffler with X pipe inside. Trust me...you should!

Have you ever considered True Duals ???? Like twin MagnaFlows ???:dontknow:
 
i would suggest the Borla or the BillyBoat exhaust. I've had both and have the Mopar Headers and Mids... Personally i think i like the borla sound better but i prefer the look and quality of the BillyBoat. Dont get me wrong the BillyBoat sounds great no complaints... I think the Borla sounds a little more exotic
 
i will post a sound clip 2marrow... of my current exhaust :)

true duals???? they have that already dont they, Or you mean 2 mufflers instead of a 2 in 2 out. Be different bro try some spintechs.

joe your truck sounded good what do you have ?

i was lookin at the Borla,... going to call my exhaust guy in a bit when his shop opens up and see what it going to run me
