I'm using a Mother's clay bar on a red truck and need some instructions. TIA!
NBT said:In a nutshell, all you need to do is make sure the truck is wahed well.. do not dry...tear off part of the bar... do not use the whole bar at once...cuz if you drop it in the dirt...it's done...get a new piece. I use Dawn soap/water (I have it in a spray bottle) since I am "stripping" (removing all old BS) down to the clearcoat instead of the spray they provide in some kit's.
Then use the bar... sticking with the same motion through out...side to side, forward / back...ect... over the entire vehicle.... then rinse as you go...wash one more time when done...dry...polish with the Porter Cable & polish/ scratch remover..... remove. Then ...wax (I use NXT) dress the tires remove wax.... one more wax... done:rock:
Will feel like clean glass once done, and the shine is second to none.

I have what appears to be black paint overspray on my truck (I have no idea where it came from). I didnt really notice it until today when I tried to give the truck a 3 part polish and after trying one bedside for over 4 hours I finally gave up.
