Need truck help

I have a 2003 Ram 2500 with a hemi. A light on the dash that looks like a lightning bolt flashes from time to time. My manual says it is the electronic throttle control system. I can turn off the key for a few seconds and it will go out and the truck runs normal again. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it.

well it is not simple but there is a fix ....i for one do not know the fix but there are some techs on the site gadodgetech comes to mind shoot him a pm!!

it means theres a problem in the fly-by-wire system

Yes, It is your Drive-by-wire.
Did you wash under the hood recently??

Haven't washed under the hood. It started about 6 months ago but would only do it 1 or two times a month. Now it does it almost every day. I just turn the key off then back on and it's fine for a while.
