Need your help - How much did you lower your truck ?

I'd like your advice on how low i can go & not have a terrible riding truck. I was thinking 2" drop spindles in front with 3" drop in the rear (different springs).... Not sure i want it level, alittle rake would be good.

Please advise & attach pictures so i can see how your truck looks now.

Thanks in advance,
Randy

i see from your sig that you went just with lowering blocks in the rear: how low & do you have a pic from the side to show how it looks ?

i have just ( till now :D ) the 1.5" inch lowering blocks in the rear... just to "level" the truck.... thinking of Stinkers lowering front springs and larger blocks? :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

don't have a specific pic... here you can see the truck "level"...

If ya find the spindles let me know, I was informed the ball joints were the same but the brake caliper mount and the bearing deal jsut wouldnt work, plus they also told me there may be other problems so i avoided it:dontknow:

but thats why I only went with the 1.25 drop on the front, a stiffer spring for non bottoming issues, plus it still leaves enough travel to have a real suspension. and with jsut a 2 inch block in the rear, you dont have to have any shock replacements, the only thing you would have to do is cut off the factory bumpstop off the front end, install a new bumpstop for travel.

and thats aobut it:D

if ya want it perfect then get the adjsutable sway bar mounts from justin:rock:

i just talked to my drop shop guy again here in portland - he swears you can get 2" drop spindles for the srt-10...... the problems you mentioned have been remedied, according to him......... he said he's done a couple of srt-10's with drop spindles recently......
don't know if he'll give up his source or not, you can give him a call if you like:

Those work good big guy, but the only prob with those is the frame still drops, so you still run into either a bottoming issue and the alignment issue, but it works killer for a two inch:rock:
and I think they a little pricey for what they are, but at least ya get to keep th oem springs:D

thanks to Norbert, Jay, Tony, Patrick & Luis for all your input...... Much appreciated !!!
i think i'm sold on the 2" drop in front, i'm going with 2" drop spindles...... the back's still undecided whether to go with a 2" or 3" drop (replacement springs i think).......

anyone else care to share their pics ?:)
