Went to the track last night and finally broke into the 7's. I was worried that the track was gonna be real crappy. Since our truck is actually the pit row for the Nascar speedway here in homestead. So to sya it's not ideal for traction, is an understatment. And to top it off they just cleaned pit row two weeks prior, for the final Nascar race of the season. So with some worn out drag radials, I managed a persanal best.
Ran a 7.96 @ 85.75mph with a 1.775 60ft and i backed it up with a 8.007 @85.55 mph with a 1.835 60ft. Just wish the track prep would have been there. But overall it was a good night.

They have a 1/16 mile track down there? :D

I tell that kid all the time to get the mid pipes, so we can do it. He is slow as dirt. Give him a holler and tell him, he might just think his old man is ragging on him. And when he sees that best time of yours he is going to need all the extra power he can get. We are going to PCB in May 11 so if he gets his mid-pipes done we are going to have Tori flash his PCM.

Maybe he is waiting for a Christmas presents from his old man.

Nice times there bud.

I got a couple of weeks off in DEC and will probably be heading to PBIR in the next couple of weeks hoping the cool weather sticks around when I do. We should do a GTG and all head up together. Let me know if you guys are interested.

On another note my truck had been running like crap the last few weeks, and finally found out what was wrong with it. It had a cracked vacum line the one that goes contected underneath the throttle body. Got it fixed and she's running like a champ.

I'm up for PBIR.
Lets do this.

Not sure if you guys will be down for this, but on Friday Dec 17th is Midnight Madness and it should be fun. The other option is Saturday Dec 18th for Test and Tune.
