Saaaweet! German Sheppard's are good loyal dogs.
True story. ^^^

We just put our Sheppard down a week ago today. :( We miss her (Casey) dearly.

With a dog you also get unconditional love...an incredible experience.

Nice...I have a Shep/Dobie mix...about 70lbs....one of the best dogs I have ever had....
Boy does that bring back some memories.
That's what we had when I was growing up on the farm. Extremely smart dog. We could just point out the cattle we wanted separated and he would round them up. We could leave gates open while moving machinery or feed and he would watch the gate for us. He was very tame, except when we were not home or after dark. Friends and neighbors would tell us afterwards that they couldn't get out of their cars if we weren't home. And after dark we did have to call him off when someone drove up. But during the day when we were home he was the most loving friendly dog you could ever imagine, and not just to our family, he loved everyone even total strangers.

Definatly the Best Farm Dog we ever had. Never even shit in the yard, always went out in the woods somewhere.

Man I miss that dog.
