Im super busy here, but Ive been planning on going to this viper track day at Gateway (St. Louis) for a couple months, so I took the morning off. Heres my best two runs, both are on pump gas, drag radials (M+H 390's), and N20 (mods and dyno #'s in sig):

First pass of the day:

60': 1.62
330: 4.82
1/8 ET: 7.46
1/8 MPH: 93.03
1/4 ET: 11.64
1/4 MPH: 117.94

Last N20 pass of the day:

60': 1.61
330: 4.75
1/8 ET: 7.36
1/8 MPH: 94.20
1/4 ET: 11.51
1/4 MPH: 118.56

DA on last pass was 2700ft, 91 degrees according to weather.com (my truck showed 97). It spun just a tiny bit on both passes, but it was pulling its ass off!

Im super pleased, now its time to get back to work.....

That is awesome Justin. Grats on your run... Was it very humid for such high temps?

What rpms are you launching at? What were your shock settings at? Excellent times!!

Makes me wonder what kind of times I can get with my numbers listed in my sig.

I'll be trying out my tires and wheels in a few weeks with the g-tech.

Thanks guys, humidity isnt terrible, just pretty hot out. The track is at 400', so the DA is definitely up there.

My shocks were at 3 in the front and about 7-8 in the back (5 on the shocks, and I have helper airbags with 25psi in them) for my best 60'. Tire pressure at 19psi, launching at 3500 on the bottle. I did a long 2nd gear burnout (two footed, no line lock) on almost all my passes, there is rubber absolutely everywhere (roof, spoiler, EVERYWHERE!).

Tim, Mike ripped off a 11.5 for his first pass and had me worried, but I stepped it up and ran my best pass against him, and he was sleeping at the tree, so there was 2-3 cars in my favor at the end (11.51 me vs. 11.53 him). Roe Blower Viper goes down to the work truck, but it was Mikes first time ever at the track so he has a valid excuse. I beat another friends viper as well on ET, so I got all sorts of bragging rights today (his first time at the track as well)!!

Nice runs Justin!!!!! Wish I could have played hooky today but my boss got back in town today.

Do you think 10's are possible with better air? I would think a density alt closer to sea level later this fall/early winter would knock off .5 a second.

I dont think so, maybe a 11.3 or something if all the planets aligned, but im not going back until this fall when the weather is better.

Hopefully I'll be there with you and Tim when you do...its killing me to find out what mine will do.

Quick look at the timeslip section shows your 60' is a new record. Any chance at posting the timeslip for those of us who like to look at them :)

Wouldnt one want a softer setting in the rear to make the weight transfer easier? With "7" thats pretty stiff isnt it? He mentioned the rear shocks were on "5" but 7-8 also, a bit confusing. I think I'm currently at "5" in the rear as well. I had been running "1" in the front.

sounds like the MH's worked good for you.

got any pics.

what shocks you running???

Geez! Considering the weight of the truck, that 60' is damn impressive!!
