New from the north east

Thanks everyone! I'm from right around the Worcester area. Last night I went to New England drag way after only having the truck a couple weeks to get a baseline and see where I need to improve and quickly found I need a lot more seat time haha. Started with a 14.8 @100 mpg with a horrible launch and missed second. But ended on my third run with a 14.1 @101 with a soft launch but a solid run and that was a solid z06 corvette kill! :chain:Can't wait to get some good tires on the back and a short throw!

I'm in the left lane. Numbers aren't impressive but haven't been to the track in 2 years and just bought the truck so the numbers will keep dropping!

Well....uh I guess for some reason my post won't go through so ill try to shorten it up. Thanks everyone! I'm from right outside of Worcester. Went to the track last night to get some baseline numbers before I do anything else to the truck and wasn't really impressed with my numbers but they improved each run so that was good.
 
Next mods will deff be a short throw and some good rear tires!

I'm not sure what kind of hobbies you have besides wine tasting and sailing but I'm confused as to why you would think that I have to entertain myself...I don't have enough time or money to (do) everything in my area...maybe you've heard of places like Norwalk raceway, one of nhra's best facilities... What about ceader point, one of our country's greatest ammusent parks..or possibly you've heard of the rock n roll hall of fame??...What about the world finals of ntpa tractor pulling in bowling green Ohio?... Or Mid Ohio race course, where LeMans and Indy are run...Now that is just what's in my back yard, I can go on and on...Is there even room for half that in mass ive two shits?....

Take your shifter boot off, remove the rubber isolator between the two shifter pieces...use Steele washers and new fine thread bolts with nylocks....night and day difference!...Will at least get ya by until you replace it..

I'm 10 min outside of Worcester. What track did you go to? Im going to New England Dragway this coming weekend if you want to head up!?

Thanks! I went to New England dragway. I'm not sure if I want to go back up again already haha but ill deff consider it! A couple more of my buddies wanna go too.

Well keep me posted... Its like pulling teeth trying to get people to go to the track! And seeing that you're close let me know I'd like to check out your truck, I've been the lone Mass guy on here since I joined the forum.

Yeh ill deff let you know if I end up planning on going. I'm out in the Brookfields! You wouldn't happen to be the owner of the black srt ive seen in Oxford? Or who just moved to Webster?

I was considering it but just had to use 2 more sick days this weekend, spent it in the hospital with the wife, they kept her for observation. Heart issue but she's fine now:rock:
 
Hopefully we can all meet up at the next BassPro, dash plaques to the 1st 1,000 cars!!!!!

Bro thats really weird... I just moved from New Braintree and I know exactly where the one in Oxford is. So yes I'm in Webster. How long have you been in the Brookfields? How old are you?

Haha I was showing my truck to Butler at the packy in nb a couple nights ago and he was telling me about your truck! And I work in Oxford and have a lot of friends out that way so I've seen that other black srt parked all the time. I'm 23 been here my whole life.
