New Ga. Gun Law (about time!)

we have the same rules in canada. sadly if bad people want guns they can get them and still use them. I know that when police come to your house here in canada they check your profile to see if you have a "restriceted firearm liscense" then they proceed with more caution. It costs lots of money and most if not all the canadian gun owners are not happy with it.

Down here thank goodness more and more states are passing laws to allow
people to carry their pistols concealed in the places most needed.
The fact that more guns = less crime is not even debatable any more.

From my understanding, your Governor left the wording open to repeal. But, it's all good right now... enjoy it while it lasts!

I have a North Carolina concealed weapons permit and it says that I cannot carry anywhere that alcohol is served (restaurants). I can understand that if I were drinking and lost control of my senses and shot someone that would be one thing. But I don't drink. So why can't I carry if I'm in control of myself? I like the new Ga. gun law. It makes sense to me unlike the NC law.

we can carry guns in canada??? what province are you in and what gun act are you following... i know we can purchace hand guns etc.. but can not carry them on us... you have to write a letter to whoever to say you are transporting the weapon etc etc...... please let me know if we can carry cause ill get that licence asap...
