Hey fellas I'm Ian. I've used this site alot it's been a big help just never signed up. Before I left for afghan I had a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Xrunner it was a great truck but sadly I put it into a pole when I feel asleep and totaled it. Went to afghan had my heart set on a Jeep Wrangler but decided one day to just browse pictures of trucks and then I saw it (BATRAM) my heart just went back to trucks. I knew what I wanted and I was gunna go to hell and back to get it. Found a 2006 in New York had road trip plans and everything set out for when I returned home but all of a sudden the guy started getting very angry at me because I couldn't come earlier so I just dropped him. Then about 2 weeks before I was to come home I found another an hour from where I lived at a dealership and it only had 19000 on the odometer, called them and told them I wanted it since I was military they told me they would hold it. Returned home went there on a Sunday which they were closed and a lone sales man and a manager was there to great me and welcome me home and let me have my test drive. Jumped in and soon as the motor started I was in love took it out and the main guy looked at me and said I know what you want to do so fucking do it at a stop light all the way through second I'll never forget it. Well its been six months later and I am very happy with my purchase. Not as cheap as the X runner, not as good on gas, doesn't handle as well, but damnit you cant beat the power. I've done a couple mods nothing to serious after market tail lights, black housing mod head lights, K & N CAI, Tinted 20% Windows, De-badge and replaced Ram Emblems with Viper Emblems, Carbon fiber Vinyl instead of silver on the interior, painted the wheels black, black lug nuts, tinted 3rd brake light, painted grill black, Side Exhaust 3' with Magnaflows, 8000k Headlights that's about it I had the tail lights and head lights tinted but got pulled over and had to change it back so I just bought black housings. But I look forward to talking to you guys and getting help from past post.
