You will find a wealth of information on this forum for your ride.The bottom line is power to weight...The Lightning weighs a lot less than your 10,so shedding a few pounds and building to the power level you need is in order.Learning how to properly launch the 10 is also a big part in lower e.t.s.If you want to go 11s,shoot for around a 7.5 power to weight ratio.If the lightning guys give you a hard time,Just tell them you will run them from a 120 m.p.h. roll!!!
That will shut them up,And then add that your truck will out brake,Out handle and is just plain cooler than any Lightning!!:burnout:
As a last resort,Tell them to put another 700 lb.s in the bed so the weight will be close and have at it!!!

They make the bodies for nascar truck series. For a complete bed with cover (All fiberglass was around 600 bucks. Great guys to talk to and I think there up in your neck of the Woods. Also Look into a Roe S/C :marchmellow: Then they will cry foul. Welcome.

If the slowest one runs 11.60, then your going to need more then simple mods Get a paxton, meth, headers, and inlet tube, and with a good driver you'll be real close.
