New Kansas member, 1st post

Hey, all!

New to the forum, had my 05 QC for a few months now. Bone stock, silver w/tonneau and nav.

Been searching through forums and threads, looking for info to start the mods, I just can't leave anything alone...it's a sickness, I know.:ahhhhh:

I know this thread is: :needpics: , but hey, you guys know what a stock srt-10 looks like anyway.

I'm from wayyyyy out here in western Kansas (Scott City), so if any of you end up out here in the middle of nowhere, give me a shout (And, I'm sorry for your luck).

I do have a few other toys/projects, but the srt is one of my favorite semi-daily drivers. I'm a bona-fide adrenaline junky (raced NHRA comp eliminator and Pro Stock, offshore boats, and dirt bikes to name a few) so this truck fits my criteria for now, but of course, needs more power.:rock:

That's why I have a fast truck...to out run the tornadoes! OK, not really, but that's what I tell the nice officer.

I belong to several forums of different interests and the one thing they all have in common is someone that likes to stir the pot and irritate other people. I always remember its just a computer.

broken arrow: you know Mike Edwards? Great guy, helped us a lot in the transition from comp to Pro Stock. He is from Broken arrow if I remember correctly. The local get together sounds fun, let me know when and I'll see if we can make it. We have a great little local rod/poker run in August every year, like to see some vipers and 10's show up for that.:rock: :rock:

Me too. It hasn't seen the light of day for a while. It is in the 'restoration process' as I like to call it, or in other words, waiting for me to do something with it. Unfortunately, the numbers matching motor/trans is gone, but I do have a correct 18 spline trans and date code 440 ready to go.

I bought the car 27 years ago for next to nothing, and it is a real FC7 plum crazy, air grabber trac pak car. Can't wait to get it back on the road.

I will snap some pics when I have it out and cleaned up, even in its current state it looks ok.
