if you buy it from an individual in the states, you can always have the person do a bill of sale for like $1000 then you wont have to pay an arm and a leg for it. Or you can find an American in Europe who has one and buy it from him and drive it to beligium, or even andAmericna at NATO who might have one. What is the amount you want to spend on one. That would help us locate one for you. Remember shipping costs also would be on your part. WE have guys in Sweden, Norway and England on the forum, they might chim in and tell you how they got theres also.

OK, noted ! I assume dealers are not keen anymore to mess with their books
so I guess a private seller is the only alternative to bypass the hole tax issue.
Independent of this I would estimate my budget to be arround 50kUSD. With the CIF costs and a Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)-installation taken out it sums
it to 44 k. I would love to spent it ALL on the truck (+ some extra's from Boomer of course :burnout: ). I'll post a new thread asking Eur members for advise....
 
Welcome to the madness, Floor! Where in Belgium are you? I lived if western Germany (Prum) for three years (US Air Force) and got to go to Belgium quite a bit. Beautiful country you have there.

Last year they ( the governement) had a real piss in our pockets : we have a Toyota 100 in my company as a "light truck" which means +/- no road taxes .
OK, he has 4 seats and is used to pull a remorque.After 5 years of acception they find that 4 places inside is a car and not a light truck.... smart... :mad:
so full taxes .. about 3.600 $ a year... haha.
Because i didn't wanted to pay that i removed the rear seats to convert to a "real" light truck :p and i bought myself the SRT !!!!!! a real light truck with a monster engine ! :dancing: :dancing: so instead of taxes i can go for some gas .... !!!! :dancing:
HOPE they find nothing on that truck.....:confused: :confused: :confused:

Well, my wishlist is starting to add up indeed:D . But these babies have a big bed to hide it all in one shipment don't they....
