traction issues and shifting alone would be a major obstacle, throw in at least 600hp and I'm not believing it, keep in mind I log a lot of track time and both vehicles run 11's, its just hard for any car to run that on street tires.

Much less, a truck with no wight over the rear tires. And according the the Dragtimes HP calculator, it's 723 at the flywheel

Ran the truck with 2 nights ago, shreded the clutch, ;-( ripped all the carbon off the plate

anyhow ran 1.9 60, 11.51 1/4 at 121 full weight, full tank of gas, original tires, and had a extra set of springs and lowering blocks in the bed, and retrax tauno cover, stock hurst shifter as well " POS"



oh i posted 2 times in the timeslip section can someone remove the 11.5 i missed the 1 on the first post.. thanks,

And full stock weight, is full stock weight. Which Jerry ain't. If you're claiming to be the fastest N/A, then be ready for someone with heads and cam to after you.
What's he gonna say. "I'm the fastest N/A with stock Heads and Cam, that weighs a ton less"?
 
NA means no power adder, meaning the engine can be a stroker or modified the way I understand it. I've cut a 1.8 with the Nittos, but only ran a 12.2, with spray. You need a lot of power to make up for that slow 60ft. 1/8th mile numbers would really help.
 
The fastest by any means necessary is my motto. You guys are gonna start sounding like the Mustang guys here wanting me to take out the bottle,lol

Maybe some of you guys have been rick rolled & really have no idea what he is running at all?

I know these trucks can dip into high 12's stock, good track, weather, driver.

So with good mods and a perfect night why can't it be possible ?

Going from 13's to 12's is one thing. Going from 12's to 11's is a COMPLETELY different thing. And then going from 11's - 10's, is a whole different ballpark. It's not just a matter of bolting more shit on and thinking you're gonna dip deep into the 11's. It takes the right combination. And on top of that, doing it in a full weight truck on street tires.:dontknow:
Shit, ROE guys with built motors, can't do it with full slicks.

I know a jeep guy was pulling like 1.8 60ft or 1.9 but still ran 10's maybe higher I forget :D

me and my friend were talking about that one day, coming out of the hole was kinda slow, but really picked up the rest of the way.
 
Congrates SRTVenomous...nice run.I wish you could give better details on the runs and the build. Remember I have never removed a valve cover so my engine internally is pure stock (60,000 + miles). I have made significant gains through my bolt-ons and tuning as well as weight saving which I have gone into great detail to help others in the VTCOA to see what works. I know how much power I have and how useless the street tires are in 1st and 2nd gear, I can only imagine it would be far worse with your kind of power. Did you mean that you still had the heavy street tires on the front and maybe some kind of slick or drag radial on the rear? It's unclear. I am not hiding anything about the build on my truck, and for the others on here that would like to know what it takes to perform so well I would hope you can outline the specifics. Build details, dyno numbers....is your engine stock compression and bottom end or is it built? Flow numbers on a stage 3 head, cam specs? Any info is appreciated. Enjoy the record , I know I have....and someday in the next year or so, I will be getting some strikers, 11.0 to 1 compression, cam and forged bottom end...and I might even come up north to Portland and we can have a friendly match race. I just went to the timeslip section and I tend to doubt your claim for times. They sure look like "Estimates" to me because everything you've reported is exactly 000 as in 60' 1.900, 1/4 mile 11.500 or 11.510 and speed 121.00. Most of these numbers are just too clean and even and don't look like real dragstip times. I would like to see the timeslips, where and what Dragstrip, DA , temp, and any witnesses that were there....or are you just hoping your truck will run an 11.50 after you repair your clutch?
