So i finally am the proud owner of one of these beasts!

Car came in very good condition only 34k miles on it. The interior is spotless the outside has a few small dings. The engine bay i was expecting to open up and see that beautiful viper engine. Don't get me wrong it was beautiful, but a little dirty to say the least. Any suggestions? I used to use Simply Green. Might have a task to do this weekend if its not 10 degrees out here.

I always spray with straight simple green, let it soak 15-20 then spray with water hose. If it's thick, maybe a scrub brush. Should make light of the work.

Congrats! But I can't believe what you are telling us without pics..... :D

Congrats

Welcome to the forum! I think I like Chip Foose's analogy best: the engine bay should be the jewelry box, the engine the jewel. One good scrubbing and you're set! I use Mother's metal polish for my intake, keeps it looking new.

Congrats on your 10. Where abouts are you from? I'm due for about 12" of snow here in NJ

I'm at work right now in Lakewood, NJ down the shore. Watching my new baby getting snowed in the parking lot haha. You're not far from me though.
