I have a feeling that by the time this issues is resolved, you will have a friend for life named Sean...

So glad things are looking up for you...

You don't happen to have a used Storm hiding in your lot do you?

Storm.jpg

does this still float with 2-3 people aboard  :dontknow:

Yes it does, but it only draws three or four inches of water...in the Keys, it is important to be able to scoot across the flats at low tide, at 90 mph!

I also have a Mako in Marathon, it handles the ocean a little better than a flats boat...the flats boat is for the outback in Florida Bay...

So I am very interested in this Super Charger, can anyone tell me the pro's and con's of this one versus the Paxton? Will I be wasting my time on this one versus a Paxton. Why is this one for sale, I seem to detect something went wrong with this installation, but no one is really telling the story if something did go wrong.

Will someone please let me know if this is a good thing or a bad thing for me to get into.

Rick

i can answer that one for you and everyone on here can confirm. Something went wrong with the vec that controlled the meth. The meth stayed on and caused my engine to blow. Nothing is hurt but my engine and sean is sending a new vec. You can call sean roe , i spoke with him earlier today

well prof. I knew i liked you, I grew up in the keys. My father was a lt. commander in the navy stationed at boca chica. We go down to marathon at least 3 times a year, we stay at key colony in marathon.

Besides what is here for sale, what else will I have to add to make this thing reliable and a joy to own? I obviously feel the piratemans pain, and would prefer not to repeat the same events. If anyone here has anything to offer (thanks a lot Prof, you are the man!) please pm me your opinions.

Just so you know, you are going to have a ton (ok maybe only 550rwtq @ 1500rpm) of down low power. New clutch as well, forgot your year but maybe go back to 4:11s if your an 05

Putting a ROE on a R/C, is going to make it feel like a 5:13 rear end gear ratio!:D You won't have a problem spinning 3rd

My wife is flying in on Thursday with her Mother...we live just north of the airport. Used to be a 2 hour and 15 minute flight in the Mooney...from Jacksonville. No longer that simple.

I have been relegated to driving down with the dog...too soft hearted to leave him in the kennel for three weeks. We have owned there a long time...long enough to have paid the place off. Get down three or four times a year since moving to Illinois...used to go down monthly when I lived in Northern Florida. Flats fishing and bug chasing is what life is all about there...with a little fantasy fest thrown in...
