New stock tires ET record...

Hey Ric....you said you just rolled on the throttle?? So NO holding the brake or nothng?? Im gonna try that and see if it helps. I always launched from like 2500-3500 rpms with the converter locked. Did it spin real bad??

I launched from idle or 600-700 rpms and rolled into it coming to full throttle at around the tree. Any stomping or loading would just cause wheel spin...

I will have to try that next time at the track and see how it does.

BTW, Horsepower Caculator puts it around 790.3 HP for a vehicle weighing 6000 and trapping at 119.06.

So my trap speed back up the infamous dyno.

Obviously the ET won't due to my traction limitations and not being able to launch under full power of the line. I am getting slicks and then the ET should back up the dyno also.

Congrats to Boomer...He talked the talk and walked the walk...
Congratulations on the great run. But if I remember correctly the debate on your dyno was not the HP but the torque curve. Almost 1000 ft lbs at 2500 rpm. Are you going to dyno your truck again now that your transmission is fixed?

Nope I have decided that the track will do the talking...It's more fun that way...
