Hi. I'm new to the forum here and just wanted to introduce myself. I live in Western / Central PA. I am a pavement maintenance contractor (sealcoater). I bought my 2006 mineral gray RC back in May. Only mod I've done is a Volant CAI. My truck had 2400k on it when I bought it. Now it has 6500! I gotta stop racking up miles! I already will need new tires pretty soon. Back ones at least!

Greetings. Riff62 is in Strousberg PA. You just missed our GTG a few weeks ago. We had 12 trucks there.

Good choice and welcome to your new home.

When I look at the burnout video now, I get a long face. I've just about killed my rear tires in the past couple of months. Now I gotta order new ones soon. When I get them though, I'm gonna finish the old set off with one hell of a smoke show! I can't wait to get that one on video.

I've had some nice rides in the past and most of them I never even photographed. I want to document as much of the fun with this one as I can, because video and pix last alot longer, ya know. Although, I could see myself holding on to this truck for quite a while after it's paid for. Unless fuel prices go down and somebody makes an even more bad ass truck anytime in the near future, but I doubt it. I think it's economy vehicles from now until whenever. Also, I can't imagine any of the big 3 truck manufacturers (even Dodge) topping the idea of a 1/2 ton pickup with an 8.3 500hp monster under the hood!

I really wanted a L when they came out, but I held off. I am now SO glad that I did. L's are very fast but I think these trucks here have so much more character. This is coming from a Ford-guy too. The last (and only) dodge pickup I had was a 1999 2wd Ram Sport with a 318. I hated that truck because of all the tranny problems I had with it. I swore I would never buy another Dodge. But, here I am with an SRT-10. I'm also looking into a Dodge as my next work truck for my sealcoating business. Currently I have a 2001 F-250 powerstroke for work. No problems, but I have some friends who have newer Dodge's and swear by them. I think Dodge has really improved everything in the past few years.
