I think Kevan left for Walmart...decided that their selection of Timex Ironman watches is really a better source for problem solution than us. They are much more technically proficient and cheaper by a long shot...in lots of ways.
As a side note, isn't it great we have Kevan to do many DIY's ?...... Talk about detailed! Holy smoke!TheSickness said:Kevan send me your addy...I am sending you my Mickey Mouse watch....Lord almighty

Okay...here we go.....
The Suunto's don't list specs on their site. I'm guessing from all the watch forum posts that they're all upward of the 40mm size.
Kevan said:Velcro Bands? Dude....be realistic. I mean, you told me to grow up a couple of posts back.I don't have it on my shoes, so I'm certainly not going to have it on my watch band.
Kevan said:The other problem with the velcro bands is that I frequently work with acetone and other solvents. Acetone + thin plastic hooks = bad.
Kevan said:Lastly, the band you posted a pic of fails:
That METAL buckle will dig into my ulna.
I never said I didn't wear velcro bands....heh heh...just that I don't anymore.![]()
Thanks, but you can keep it. I'd hate to take your woobie away.TheSickness said:Kevan send me your addy...I am sending you my Mickey Mouse watch....Lord almighty

Soapy said:.... My #2 watch is a Tissot Ttouch. It offers both analog and digital displays and has features like temp, altitude, barometer built right in. If it had a night light It would be my #1 choise.
Kevan said:The Tissot's pretty nice.
Too bad about the size.
(I have to guess because- once again- no dimensions available)
