Hello all!!! I am a newbie to the Viper Truck. Just purchased an 04 regular cab, 6 speed manual. I have been around muscle cars all of my life and all of them Mopars. I also have a 79 Dodge D-150 4x4 Macho Wagon Clone with a 440 c.i. with a 727 TF. 6 inch lift... will upload photos of both.

My question is this, I seem to have what I would best describe as a valve rattle, almost sounds like a roller cam, of course when you buy a used vehicle it is almost impossible to know exactly what it is that you are buying. Is this a typical sound for the v-10, one "expert" mechanic at the local dealership told me that he didnt hear anything strange but yet I am leary.

Also I seem to have the same issue with most with the brake squeal and copious amounts of dust...reccomendations for pads and is the stock rotors the issue or is it the pads.
