running out of money. As I look online at other forums (yes I am bored) I realize how cheap it is to modify other rides. Examples - 03/04 cobras, all "L's", Camaros & T/As, even vettes. I need to always do more to my rides, always another mod. A used eaton s/c from a L is $400, are you kidding me, good headers for a cobra are $600. oh well, guess its back to work tomorrow

BTW, does anyone know how much hp a stock "L" engine can handle:dontknow: I may pick up a 02-04 L when my lease is up on my truck.
unless I can find a r/c SRT10 with an auto in it!

yeah, I know what ya mean....If I had a lightning and modded it to be as fast as my SRT10 I would still have about $10K to spend on mods to make it even faster.....and I would maybe be faster than all the other Lightnings, Cameros, Cobras and T/As I would see on the road every day......

....I dont know....just something about hearing "Hey man....I have never seen one of those..cool!"...or "that is the bitchinist truck I have ever seen"....

....yeah, I hate attention...one of those other vehicles would make me invisible...:dontknow: ........

L's can be pretty reliable up to about 450rwhp... then the rods give out.

I believe 450-500rwhp is about the limit on stock bottom end

I agree with you....all my son's 18 year old buddies drive that stuff to school. They can afford to Mod them by getting hours at McDonalds. But from Cincinnati to Columbus I venture to say I won't see another modded SRT10 on any given day......but I'll be able to play Car Bingo with the models you mentioned. If I could do it over....I'd have just bought nowwhats truck and had 50k in my pocket....minus what it cost to paint it red and add the wing.

I Had a 2001 Lightining. But when i Got my Srt10 it was definately an upgrade. and more fun
