There is also a Hooters in Warner Robins (Robins AFB), exit 146 off of I-75, about 30 minutes from the track, if you want to setup a dinning experience prior to the track? Good place to rest your feet and gain some sanity among the creatures of the world.

It's 10:35 am here. After a night of drinking and getting to bed at 5 am I think I :dontknow: MIGHT have had enough sleep. :stoned:Besides, the sun came up and was shining right in my face. With the gorgeous blue sky it may be time to climb another mountain today.

If scrambler doesn't mind, I am going to invite some of my airmen from base to attend also. This way we will have someone to race instead of beating up on each other. Plus, they will take some pulls on the dyno.

Competition Policies and Procedures - 2008 Season​
  1. NO RERUNS - if a winner cannot be determined by computer then both drivers will be allowed into the following round. No points will be awarded for the round in which the winner could not be determined. Driver accepts track condition and dial-in when car is staged. Losing drivers will not be reinstated if the posted dial-in is incorrect. Please do not stage if something is wrong. Computer print out determines race results.

  2. Dial-ins must be posted 2 cars back. (See signs in staging lanes).
    ​
  3. No burnouts across starting line for cars with front brakes.
    ​
  4. No sliding tires at the finish line.
    ​
  5. Time runs in session - one per session. Open time runs will be run on 1/4-mile Saturdays.
    ​
  6. Bye-runs will be drawn before starting eliminations. Bye-runs will be carried over until used. After a bye-run is used or the driver is eliminated, a bye-run will go to best reaction time from the previous round among drivers who have not had a bye-run. Bye-runs are limited to 1 per race. Break byes don't count. A bye run may be declined by a driver with the bye going to the next eligible driver. The bye run will be pulled out of staging by the staging director before the semi-final round.

  7. Odd staging lanes run left lane, even run right and as the staging director points to 2 cars at the head of staging, that is a pair. Cars are not considered paired until this point and no break byes will be given until the staging director directs the two cars at the head of staging to enter the restricted area. Pairings will be drawn starting in the semi-final round.

  8. Car failure limit - 2 minutes in staging - 1 minute on track.
    ​
  9. First car in line has lane choice when cars are in single file until semi-final round. Lane choice will then be by coin toss. The exception to this rule is that all drivers with the bye-run who have to run in eliminations will have lane choice until the semi-final round.

  10. Drivers can race only 1 car in each eliminator and only 1 driver is allowed for each car. Driver may enter more than one eliminator in each event, but must use a different car in each.. A driver MAY run the same car in S/ST and one of the other eliminators on 1/4-mile Saturdays when the CSR Super Street Series is contested.

  11. If a car wins a round and breaks, both are out. Driver cannot enter another car after eliminations have begun. Drivers can substitute another car before the first round of eliminations.

  12. NHRA rules are in effect. The "policies" listed here are in effect at all events conducted by Silver Dollar Raceway unless otherwise stated prior to conduct of event.

  13. Cars must have working tail lights when running at night.
    ​
  14. Pro ET and Sportsman - foot-brake racing only. No trans brakes or delay boxes. If so equipped, they must be rendered unusable to the satisfaction of the tech director. Compulink's "Auto Start" is used set to NHRA specs and deep staging is allowed, but the auto start is active.

  15. No switching lanes during eliminations. In order to insure "random pairing" drivers may not switch after committing to a lane.
    ​
  16. Zero tolerance of alcohol and drugs for drivers. We reserve the right to administer a breath test when alcohol use is suspected. No alcoholic beverages or glass containers are allowed in staging lanes.​
  17. At least one portable dry chemical fire extinguisher of rating of at least 12 BC will be required for each pit space as per Georgia State requirements. (See Rules of Safety Fire Commissioner 120-3-18-.10) Pit space is that area occupied by each trailered race car.

  18. Speed limit is 25 mph in pits.​

Hooters makes me sick. Both slow91 and OSO love eating there so I am at Hooters way too much. But at least I'll be trying a location I've never been to. Their Cuban Sandwich isn't too bad at all.

I know OSO likes jacking with the waitresses. The wings aren't THAT damn good... More heartburn than anything, but they'll do as long as a pitcher of cold suds is at arm's reach:D .. Oh and your green light is still off so you're just going to continue sneaking up on me.. HAHA
