It just worked out that way. Hurricane Ike had plenty to do with it. The hurricane's aftermath. Then, people going on vacation in Norway that I needed to arrange my accomodations. Manditory annual training here in Houston.. Just SOOOO many things happening at once causing me to remain here waiting.. It sucks because if I had the chance to leave on September 20th like originally planned, I would have been back on November 1st... OR if I got to leave last Saturday like I was supposed to (before being postponed again) I would have been back November 19th.. THAT would have been perfect.

We can get rooms at the Holiday Inn in Perry for $71.99/night, that's a king or 2 doubles. Rate includes hot breakfast bar Saturday and Sunday mornings. Hotel has a full service bar open as late as we keep them busy on Friday night and till midnight on Saturday(can't serve on Sunday in GA). Hotel was recently renovated.
It's not as large a discount as I was expecting for a group rate, so if you guys want to stay somewhere cheaper that's fine. I called around to some other hotels in the area and rates are 49-69/night at Days/Comfort/Quality Inns.
Post up and let me know, I told the woman at the Holiday Inn I'd call her back tomorrow.

I'll stay wherever you guys want......hell if you stay at a cheaper hotel the savings will be burnt up in fuel driving to where we will GTG Friday night..

My thoughts exactly. I'll call the Holiday Inn tomorrow to confirm if everyone agrees. I'll wait for a few more responses.
