I concur completely. Those major changes are what we really need to discuss.

i think the easiest traction helper would be a quick bolt on option at the track

it would consist of longer long bars,,,,first you would have to bolt on brackets that would hang far below the axel center line,,,,then the extra long bars atached:rock:

Not a bad idea... But I tend to steer away from the "Bolt on at track" solutions... track conditions are pretty crude to be working on your ride.... If something isn't tightened up or dialed in right, you could find the wall real quick on your first run. :dontknow:

i dont think anyone had a camera going...too cold to take your hands out of your pockets...

have you seen caltracs mono leaf spring?

its actual two seprate spring halves bolted together to make one,,or mono;)

they can make the mono spring that is suited for the weight and power of your truck:rock:

here is the catch,,,they are moving to a new facility very soon,,,so they dont want to take on any new projects right now,,but after the first of the year i might be driving over there for a few measurements:idea:

some of the racing classess that do not have limitations on rear suspension are still domanated by leaf spring vehicles,,,,,so opting for a back half or a four link, or ladder bars might be a great way to go,,,,dont be suprised if a stock styled rear suspension truck out 60's you
