ahhhh crap man! great effort though! what are you going to do to transfer that power to the ground? you might need to add some serious weight in the bed over the rear axel. 10 bags of grout mix might do it?

Man I am really sorry. I wanted a strong 10 second run from you! It sounds as if the seat of the pants feel was thrilling...coasted thru at over 110...maybe 120's!!!!!!! That projects to low 10's:D :D :D

What an effort, thanks from all of us...and we are really on the edge of our seats to follow the new build.

First run......I trapped at 54 mph.....every time I stepped on the gas the tires simply turned to smoke......

Second run....lowered the air pressure 4 psi....and adjusted the NO2 to ramp up slower......zoooooommmmm....this mother is going to be fast......like a jato rocket man...I was all over the track....and was just messing with it....something went wrong when it shifted into 3rd.......I got out and coasted thru the lights at 112mph....:D ....I'm telling you I must have been in the high 120's before I got out....:rock:

A/F is way safe....all is good...... figure metal failure....my guess is a bent push rod.....(Just like Stinker and Jack said)....

Gotta tell you guys....it was worth it.....And you should hear it when the nitrous ramps in......:star:

Woke up this morning and I am still laughing....good times....

Blake....how about you make a few runs with out Nos first my brother........

This 250 stuff on top of some Hp is no joke.....kinda like a video game.....

As far as the build......who knows.....will talked to the boys on monday.....

Would love for it to be just a rod....we can get that fixed and I will drive the truck while we build a short block...that isn't the problem though......time to re think traction....in a big way....

When the truck shifted into 2nd the tires hooked then there is a preprogrammed pause in the NO2 ...1/3 of a second then the juice ramps up....at the end of the ramp the tires simply blew off the truck.....data logging showed I hit 6400 RPMS......BWWAHHAHAHAA....6400 ....nice.....

Good thing this is all covered by warranty.....

You know how it is stink......:D ......I have driven some cars that I thought were fast....but the force with which this nitrous hits....is just.....silly.....the good news is that these big, long QC's take the power well....I would have hit the wall in a shorter...lighter ride....

Man and the sound......crazy.......

Can't wait to do it again.....If it is just a rod....or a valve spring...I may have to try again on the stock bottom end just to see.....I will wait till the other motor is ready....and then the day before....hit the track....

Oh....Blake are you listening...?...this is a violent Mr Toad's ride.....get those drive shafts looped....cuz all kind of stuff is trying to break loose.....

mike did a very nice bit of driving,,,,he spun of the line,,gathered her up,,,spun threw second,,,,gathered her up,,, spun on the third gear hit,,,,went side ways and gathered her back up again:rock:

Mike there are a lot of us with traction problems...maybe that should become a major thread...while your motor went away due to who knows what...once we start to get our arms around traction...there are going to be lots of other issues to deal with...but traction is a real problem for quite a few of us now...

I'll start it under mods...Traction with Boost or Spray...

Traction has been discussed a number of times. No one wants to listen.

The short version is you can only do so much with the stock set up. At some point you have to make some major changes.
