When I put headers and exhaust on my truck, I had to replace the drivers side upstream O2. After I did that the check engine light came on, I had a few feed backs on the forum saying my O2 was burned out. I replace the sensor and im still having the same problem.....P0132-O2 SENSOR 1/1 CIRCUIT VOLTAGE TOO HIGH. What do I need to do?????

Did you check the wiring to the sensor too?
A long shot, but did you replace the correct sensor? It's happened before.

Yeah when I did the key thing 3 times it gives me the same code, someone the forum said 1/1 was the driver side upper, 1/2 would be driver side rear. Im stumped:dontknow:

That's correct. The 1/1 stands for Bank 1 Sensor 1 which is the drivers front O2 sensor. Disconnect the connector and look at the terminals on both halves for bent pins or a terminal (female side) that is bent open. Also look for harness damage.

Stupid question, are you sure that you cleared the code out after you replaced the O2. It will not clear itself right away.

I mean make sure you plug in the correct side to the correct O2 sensor, especially if you have installed mids. It's happened before where the wires got crossed and they replaced a good O2 sensor with a new sensor but never replaced the bad one. Not saying this is the problem but something to check.

Ill have to take a closer look at the plugs this weekend, hopefully I can figure out whats wrong. Thanks for the input.

grysrt I dont know if this will fix your problem or not , but may help.

Joannes QC has long tubes with no cats, with sims, and has usually had no problem passing emmisions.
well it has sit for almost six months, and the other day she drove it to get it inspected. On the way there no engine light.
when they hooked up the machine it wouldnt pass, 02 sensor not ready and evap control not ready.

took it into the dealer today and found the ppump going bad on the truck, had a couple codes in the computer, no cel by the way has shown up:dontknow:

but they told her in a round about way the evap system affects the 02 sensors causing faulty readings and may not show up as a cel light.

Replaced the pump and all is well now.

so you may just have the dealership check out the evap system jsut in case.

and no the dealership didnt have any problems with her mods, headers, no cats and so on, well he couldnt work the floor shifter:D

but then my dealer gets a kick outta our trucks:D the guys actually love it when mine rolls in:D

Do yourself a favor and check the fuse for the o2 sensors... I had the same problem and my fuse was blown... totally caught me off guard...

I've been taking to Gary at X-Metal, he seems to think that the 02 extensions might be the problem. I'll check the fuse also

Stinker-what pump are you taking about?

called the evap pump, it removes fuel vapors and such, never thought it woulda caused me to have 02 problems tho, its under the truck next to the fuel tank, the valve on it went bad.

What was the DTC code that your truck was giving you on the odometer?

Hey Patrick,
wish I could be of help with your problem.
I am sure one of these smart wrench turning Einstein's will be able to help you out.

Cheers J.T.

I'll get it figured out one way or another, thanks for all the input
