Oh no

Holy-Canoly! This is why I want to trade my Jeep for a Accord or Civic or equal. I knew this was going to happen. No way in hell my truck goes though. The prices will come back down.

Hopefully.

I'm paying 3.35 for premium right now. I wonder what it will rise to this summer. These gas prices will only keep rising especially with the increased demand by China. Combined with fawking opec that is limiting output for financial gain. This translates to HIGH gas prices for us. But WTF we didn't buy these trucks for the gas mileage. All I can tell you is that driving these trucks are worth every penny you spend on it. Especially if it makes you feel good when you get behind the wheel.

I second the motion!

I agree that we did not buy the trucks for fuel mileage, hell, some of us put blowers on top of it, but i'm still not happy about the fuel gouging.

Am I going to pay for gas at 10.00/gallon? Yup, because I'm being forced to; but I'll still be pissed :D I don't like paying hand-over-fist for something that could be less expensive if refineries, distributors, and such didn't want to make record profits.

I feel for those who can barely make ends meat, and struggle as it is for someone else to get filthy rich.

That right there says it all. I have a real hard time when these companies are reporting record profit levels, while consumers are paying record level prices. It is not proportionate. My wages have not increased as fast as gas prices.

Brazil is telling OPEC to go F&%# themselves. They are heavy into alternate fuels. Something the US hasn't pushed for nationally yet. The US will wait until it has to do something. There are some pioneers out there playing with the idea and some manufactures are now selling Flex Fuel vehicles, but not to the extent Brazil is doing.

I know, our trucks don't run on anything but premium.
