Oil burning

Oh dont get me worng I love rp but the rings I got are so damn hard it needs the thick stuff Oil still good. I have never seen so many different variances in one motor than these.:dontknow: But you gotta love it:rock: :rock: :rock:

I have the hard racing rings too....took almost 20K miles for the dang things to seat....but seems to like RP 20/50...

I have changed my oil lines because they were leaking and that didnt fix it I have been using royal Purple 5 w 20 so I will try some of the other options thanks

5w20 is way to thin in my opinion, customer cars that recommend 5/20 factory fill that are over warranty we use 5/30 or thicker in.

I put in castrol 5w50 in this year and used mobil 1 5w40syn Diesel oil last year. I haven't had any problems.
