34" from the top stopper (where it touches the top of the dipstick tube) to the tip.
If you were to put a mark 33" from the top stopper towards the end of the stick, THAT would be the correct spot for FULL with 8.5 U.S. Quarts in the pan.

Of course this is assuming the dipstick tubes are the same length

Next oil change I'd go 8.5 and mark the stick accordingly..

Old Colt (on here sometimes) went through this with his 2006 RC. SAME DEAL 10.5 in the manual.
It quit "burning oil" once it had 8.5 in it.

I don't think there is a significant amount in the cooler and lines.

I’m due for the oil change ,, I’ll check the reading as you stated when I do it . I’m not using oil much at all ! But I want it correct .. thanks
