I got my oil cooler lines from jtsvp yesterday. Going to pick up the oil today. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help with changing the lines? Thanks

    Oil Cooler Lines:

Not a bad idea to use some Brake-Clean (spray) on both ends before you take the old ones off. This will reduce the chance of getting any grit inside the cooler, new lines, engine. AND it will help you see what you're doing when you are taking those spring-clips off.

Thanks. How much fun are the spring clips? I've never messed with them.

It’s not too bad at all. I would change the oil cooler lines when your doing an oil change. Just because maybe about 3/4 of a quart comes out when disconnecting the lines. Jtsvp definitely the way to go and they back up their lifetime warranty too. I had mine leak and they took care of me. They sent me new lines no questions asked.

Pull the oil filter. it will help to drain the lines and cooler. Still, it will be a mess job. Be patient and have a large drip pan and lots of Rags/sorball . don't do it on a windy day if doing it outside. Have fun! :)

Oil change and cooler line replaced. It was alot easier than the power steering lines. Took the inner fender linner out and everything was right there. Thanks for all the help.
