Just a general gripe. Anyone find the dipstick a royal pain to read when changing the oil? I honestly can not ever get a good reading I am comfortable with on that damn thing. One side shows oil up to the mark the other doesn't, uggghhh!! Usually put in whats needed (8.5 qts w/ filter) and wait a day then check it again to see if it looks right.

Any after market ones available that work better? Just curious.

Have the same problem. I think the dipstick is scraping up against and picking up oil on the tube to give you a higher reading. I go off the lower reading.

definatly a pain to read....

Lol I have the same problem, usually it reads full on one side, and empty on the other. I don't know what to do, but after a bit I can't add any more so I assume its full
