OK guys I am gonna try to explain this without photos so bear with me.

I found a little puddle of oil after parking her 2 nights ago. I would say no more than 3 Table spoons of oil. I can't see exactly were its comming from but I think maybe oil blow by from the Oil Breather cap.

The oil is dripping right on the cross memeber then to the ground which leads me to believe I can rule out the rear main seal??:dontknow:

There is a little oil on the Valve cover lip right below the Oil breather cap. I remember Justin saying this is a problem with blown engines under boost.

Quess I gotta get her up on a lift to see for sure!! The down side of dropping her!! I don't fit under there anymore!!

Yeah, The filter is brown so i know there is blow by. Just seems like it would be more obvious right at that point.

Maybe i need to put a little camera in the engine bay to see whats goin on when she's under boost?? :p

It will leak especially if it is a centrifugal supercharger or turbo that blows through the throttle body. The reason is the PCV hose that runs from the bottom of the intake right behind the TB to the passenger (rear) valve cover has no check valve. Under boost, it will pressurize the block which can cause leaks anywhere (and power loss due to ring flutter).

Shes a top mount so she doesn't blow through the TB. But I am sure there is alot of Crank case pressure under boost.

What's your PCV setup like now? Is it just two breathers in the valve covers?

I do have Justins, Just need to install it!! What I don't get is I have had the Blower now for 2 Months, but it just started leaking??

Hope it's as simple as blow by??:dontknow:

I really believe this would eliminate your problem Marc. Good Luck.

Sounds like it is probably blow-by pushing oil through the PCV. The SRT-4's are notorious for oil collecting in the pressure pipe and intercooler from blow-by. When I replaced the upper pressure pipe to install a larger one with BOV, about a pint of oil ran out of the intercooler. I converted an oil collector out of a moisture vapor collector for an air compressor and installed it in line with the hose going from the PCV intake. Since it has a clear site glass, I can see when it is full and empty it accordingly. It is just a side affect of FI. Only way to improve it is to install a crankcase evacuation system that is tied into your exhaust. If I remember correctly, Moroso makes a kit.

Yep, both are on the driver side. The oil filler has the Roe Breather and the rear just has a Small K&N filter. Ther passenger side is capped off.

Sorry for the delay buddy, my wife came home with the groceries. We all know who has to unload those. :D
With the filter mounted right on the TB, you may have to run a vacuum pump to get the negative pressure in your crankcase. You can run it through an air compressor dryer to separate the oil from the gases. You'd be suprised how much ring sealing is affected by crankcase pressure.

Weird Roe sent me a breather for the Passenger side also... 1 month into and no oil leak problems. :dontknow:

I will install JMB's catch can and see what happens, sounds like this will be the fix!!

Will keep you all posted.

Thanks

By the way, you should check your oil cooler lines at the crimps. They are also known to leak.. they connect at the r/f lower part of the motor.

This is what I was thinking Marc...

My TMTS has been on for 8 months now...no blow by...not running a catch can.

I do have a slight seep in one oil line, just waiting to see if Mutt is going to be able to put together a steel braided group buy...

if you're sure, then you should fix that!
