Oil residue at cap?

Anyone have an issue with oil blowing by the valve-cover cap? I keep ending up with oil on the side of the cover coming down from the cap, but the O-Ring on the cap seems fine?.....:dontknow:

There are updated oil cap o rings From the dealer I bought a green and blue one don't remember which one I used they are different sizes. There was an issue with mine leaking a little oil onto number 1 spark plug wire.

I replaced the O ring also.

If there is pressure BLOWing out of there with the cap off, you have engine issues. If it just some oil getting by the cap, change to the newer green o-ring, as mentioned.

LOL!! You could really scare people with that ya know!! No no its not blowing out of it... you can clearly tell it tries to ooze out a lil onto that area of the cover... only in a downward direction by way of gravity, its not blowing out all directions under pressure or anything...

Thanks guys ill check with the dealer for an O-Ring!
