oil temp gauge not working!?!

Hi, guys wondering if anyone one had the same issue...my oil temp gauge is stuck on 180 F and needle wont move from there even after ignition is off.
could it be the gauge went bad???

they all eventually quite, either a new guage or aftermarket , but most likly the oem guage

Just had the same thing happen. Got a new digital oil temp gauge from Tony.

Mine went bad. I am in the process of converting the gage cup into a custom switch bank. I just need to work on the back lit face with SRT style labels and logo.

Trying giving it a "tap" - possible short in the gauge itself? :dontknow:

Replace it with a guage that monitors something more important like A/F....IMO the oil temp guage would be one of the last I would add...

Mine went bad in my 06, another memeber hooked me up with another oem, plugged right in ansd worked fine. You need another gauge sir

Mine did the same thing a couple years ago, warranty covered it.

Changed mine this spring. Check ebay if you want a SRT gauge.

Mine went bad in 2008. Wow guess alot of us had that problem too!!!

Had to have mine replaced back in 2006.But now I have 5 extra one in the shop just incase.
