It's -39c with the wind chill in our neck of the woods. We had some new folks move in next door over the summer, they have been fairly low profile. (Not that my loud truck has anything to do with it 
). This morning the neighbour lady came to the door asking for help. Their furnace crapped, the gas fireplace woundn't start.
I went over and got the fireplace going (main gas valve was closed) and then started working on the furnace. It was an iced-off inlet pipe. So I took care of that and changed the air filter. The furnace fired up and the lady and her kids have heat again.
So, there is my good deed of the day!!
