Liquidation sales are a lot like the electronics stores up in NY, discount of what? If you notice they never say discount off of MSRP.

The set I picked up had a MSRP of $599, CC tag was $499, plus 10% off. And a little haggling netted a few $$$ off from that, not much but some. Most of what CC was offloading seemed to be well below MSRP and the discounts for major electronics and systems came in at 10%, accessories 30%. And yes, they'll never advertise the basis of a discount.
