Do you have possession of the truck now? If you do I would get every after market mod you can off. From past experience, if you take a mod off you have to have the original part for replacement.

If they total it out ask them how much it would cost for you to buy it from them.

Of course main thing is pops is okay. I'm sorry about your truck bro, hopefully the insurance will do right by you. Play it smart and with a little luck you could make out real good.

I gotta ask, was it a white Ford? I swear out of all the crap that I seen pulled in Fords, all the worst was damn white ones.

Did the Ford driver atleast stop and check on your pops, or did he just drive away like an azzhole. You reap what you sow, f-ker gonna get his.

I think taking your pops fishing or hunting or something of the like to blow off some steam and just celebrate that he's okay will help you out.
