School doesn't start until Wednesday...snowing, wind chill in the negative area this past weekend...really bored...had to go over and kill a couple of young kids on the racquetball court this afternoon just to keep from going stir crazy.

That's amazing. My first Boss built a working scale model of a Pratt and Whitney 7 cylinder aircraft engine during WWII. He made every part except the spark plugs. He modified model airplane glo plugs into spark plugs. He even made all the fasteners. It's now in a museum.

Way, way too much detail for me...I have always preferred to be very broad but only skin deep...it really comes down to how you view your place in life...I do admire people that can drill all the way to bed rock on a topic...in business I had to surround myself with people who could focus on specific things...I was simply not capable of that kind of discipline.

You answered a question for me about lowering my NR. I see a 2/4 lowering kit for an RC for sale from somewhere in cal. 500 bucks for two blocks and a few U bolts. Whats he gonna do, install it? Or is the 2/4 something else in the lowering business? bobby mac

Tim is correct, this has been posted before, but it never ceases to amaze me the amount of detain and work that went into that car.

We have a guy here at work that is building his own, from the ground up Ford GT40. Been at it for a few years and figures he is about 8 to 10 years away from completion.

I do not have the patience to do that.

As much as I appreciate, nay ...hold in awe.....the achievement of building this fully functioning mini Ferrari... I can't help but consider how consumed this guy is by all of this......

But, genius does have it's liabilities.......

BTW, I'm not an engineer ... Better change the title......
