Hey guys check out this thread from Performancetrucks.net that I found. I was bored last night and I decided to go looking for something interesting. Pay close attention to the video and listen to that idiot. His alligations and numbers don't add up. All you QC bros would be especially interested in this one. So here it is.

+1.
Try posting something like that on another vehicle forum. See what happens.
They'll all start throwing Reese's Pieces at you and yell "ET, baby!!!".
:D

EDIT-
More info for ya, Anthony:
Curb Weight (from Edmunds.com)
- Nissan Titan Crew Cab- 5073 lbs.
- SRT-10 QC- 5691 lbs.
That's 618 lbs. heavier....and it still beat him.
Without a bottle.

Who cares?

Werent you ever taught if you dont have anything nice to say , dont say it?
I have noticed that you have a serious chip on your shoulder, and the only time you are positive in your posts is when you are sharing something that interests you.Do you really think most of us gave a damn when you posted about your new rims? I know I didnt , but you didnt hear me saying "who cares". Just because you served our country (which we all appreciate), dosent give you the right to talk down to people.Just my .002.

Ya know silversrt? I was seriously vexed when I saw that "who cares?" reply from Chris. Thanks for your input. It's worth more than $0.02 to me. But then I thought that he was probably taken by a Titan sometime before too. Really this is why I hardly come here or say much because although we are taught on VTCOA that we are all brothers (and sister) here, there are always one or two that have to say something negative or degrading when all they should have done was move on to what they consider a more interesting thread.

As for you Christopher I don't care where or how long you served. That would only make me assume you would not show uncaused disrespect to your fellow countrymen (and fellow Texan), unless that was a sham just to get you through basic training. You expect the whole country to respect you for what you do yet you can't show that same respect to someone else in return. When I hear about the efforts of this country's soldiers fighting abroad I am certainly not one to say "so what?" even though each and every one of us have that right thanks to soldiers like you. But why do I bother, because you don't care. How does the saying go? Respect the uniform but not the person? Yeah, I agree. It's a damn shame that the same friendly warmth doesn't emanate consistently from everyone here. I used to believe a US soldier would strive to pass that same goodwill onto to others. I don’t know who may be offended by this but sorry, I’m fed up and I don’t CARE what it’s worth.

I like that info Kevan and your positive attitude. I knew that clown was an idiot. Personally I think that was a poser he was going up against. But that's my opinion. Sincehe's here in Houston I WILL meet up with him and THAT video will be something for us to giggle about. Peace man.

Guys, At first I was put off by the "Who Cares" comment but then I thought it may have been directed at the Titan owner. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, and not being able to read the emotion in the written word or determine who it was actually directed at, please don't get your feathers too ruffled.

That's a good point Dave but all too often I run into this sort of attitude around here by at least one person that was probably having a bad day. It's very displeasing. If my day is bad (and I've had a few months of bad days that some here know about) I wouldn't take it out on anyone but myself. If that remark were directed towards the Titan owner then that should have been made clear. I certainly would have taken the extra few seconds to assure that so the wrong person wouldn't be offended (if that were the case). For the sake of VTCOA I'll give Chris the benefit of the doubt as well.

Glad to see someone got it.

I find it amusing that you all attack me saying that I have a chip on my shoulder because I served. Hey, it's a part of my life and I'm proud of it. If you didn't go through it then you wouldn't understand.

Who cares? Who cares what a Titan owner thinks. But I have to explain myself to the sensitive type on the board.

And if you would have posted "who cares?" to my rims then so what. I wouldn't be crying over what someone I don't know said.

I've driven a Titan and owned a RC Hemi and the Hemi is a bit quicker. I don't know what a QC is like to drive, but my RC 04 is so much faster than those trucks that there is no comparison. I've driven an SS Trail Blazer and a 06 GTO. I could eat them alive. Maybe my truck is a freak.

Anthony-
Because I'm a giver, I'm gonna help out Mr. "Don't Know Where You're Getting Your Numbers From". No charge....this time. :)
From EDMUNDS.COM, one of the standards in online vehicle research (who get their information from the vehicle manufacturers):

2005 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab Specs:
http://www.edmunds.com/used/2005/nissan/titan/100487516/specs.html

2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab Specs:
http://www.edmunds.com/used/2005/dodge/rampickup1500srt10/100401319/specs.html

And I must apologize for my mistake earlier. I was going off of 2006 specs for the Dodge and 2007 specs for the Nissan.
I'll correct the numbers now:

2005 Nissan Titan SE Crew Cab- 4868 lbs.
2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab- 5691 lbs.
------------------------------------------
Difference- 823 lbs.

Again, I'm sorry about the mistake.
