Well I believe the time is getting near...the truck is on the chopping block.
It's a long story...but in a nutshell...Dawn is not progressing, and is going to have to endure spinal injections ... the vertebra below her prior trauma is now herniating starting with S-1 ... so employment is not looking good.

What do you feel is a good price for my truck...taking into consideration the mod's...:dontknow:
The truck is always garaged, 90% of the miles are highway.
2004 Silver... # 270
17 K
Roe Supercharger, Tuned By Sean ROE
ROE Throttle Body
VECIII and Methanol
Bellanger Long Tube Headers, Rear Cat Delete, and High Flow cat mids, Magnaflow Muffler... all 3" exhaust.
172 T-Stat, JMB Hard Piping, and Thermostat Housing
Billet Valve Covers
Boomer Lowering Kit, Shifter, Door Sills, Seat Levers, and Fuel door
Caltracks
New Cryo'd Centerforce and OEM Flywheel with correct 500 mile break in
Viper Hydraulics
Hurst Line Lock
Smoked Tail Lights
Clear Front Headlights
Ghost Flamed
Shaved Calipers, 16 X 10 AE Rims, and M&H slicks.
Tripple Gauge Pillar with AEM, Boost, and Oil Temp Gauge
New Kumho Tires

Just "kicking this around"...but I need to get a few ideas what she is worth in your opinion.
TIA

Sorry to hear this Kenny! I know how much you love your truck!

And it is a beautiful truck too!

I would say don't take a penny less than 40K with everything you have done to it. But, it might not sell quickly at that price.....

This really sux!

Sorry to hear this, Bro. Prioritizing sux sometimes, huh? Good Luck with sale. And will be praying for yall as well.

Firstly I respect your decision to put your wife first and I hope Dawn gets better soon but is there anything the VTCOA guys and gals can do for you so you can keep your truck?

Sorry to hear things are not improving for you two. $40K sounds good, but it would be a tough sell. Worth the money but tough. I think Dave sold his for around $34,000.

sorry to hear of your ongoing problems.........:(

the above price is probably more accurate, but i think it took dave quite awhile even @ that price to sell.......

my best wishes to you & your family.

I hope and pray things work out for you. I can't believe Dave only sold his truck for $34K.

NBT I personally would want $45K if it were my truck, that is just way to nice of a ride, but who knows what the market will say.

Sorry you have to sell, Ken......

Remember that if you're very motivated to sell, that the least you'll take could (simply) be the most they'll pay.....

Good Luck.....the very best.....

D

sorry to hear

It seems similar trucks are in th ~35k range. Seems like a tough pill to swallow but that seems to be the market price.

You would probably make out better parting it out as much of PITA that is.

Ken, I only wish the best for Dawn.

sorry to hear kenny,ur gonna be better off selling ur mods and returning the truck to stock if u want a quick sale

Hey Ken .. sorry to hear the news. Hope everything turns for the best.

I would say the truck should fetch high 30's.. even though it is worth more

Steve

I was lucky enough for Ken to take me for a ride in this truck. Truck was very smooth to the point I did not realize how fast we were going. I remember thinking that I expected that it would be faster until my sunglasses slid off the top of my head. VERY fast and smooth!:burnout: :burnout:

I am sad that things have not got better for you and Dawn. You have a beautiful truck and it should get top dollar. I hope that it turns out good for you guys! I will continue to pray for you guys!

I agree with flchub you would be better off parting her and returning to stock.

Ken,

First off, I want to wish Dawn and yourself the very best. You've done an amazing job supporting her and keeping things together for your home.

Probably your best bet is to return the truck back to stock and sell your mods. As much as I would love to think the right buyer will come along and pay top dollar for your pristine truck, I don't think that'll happen. Dave took a huge hit on his truck. Plus it was for sale for quite a while. I think he even had it in the Dupont Registry, which attracts buyers with deep pockets.

Bone's idea about adding up the total cost of all your mods and then cutting it in half or 75% isn't a bad idea either. That'll show you're not looking to MAKE any money, it'll also show you couldn't duplicate the truck for the asking price.

Good luck Kenny.
