On my 05 cummins, the air blows cold a/c on the drive side and without a/c on the passenger side. It's not dual climate controlled either, any help would be awesome, thanks!

My SRT10 was doing that when I first bought it... it was a servo motor under the dash. Something having to do with switching from defrost vent to dash vent. It was fixed under warranty. But, I don't have any of the records anymore to tell you exactly what the part was. :dontknow: :( Sorry.

I can get on ALLDATA-PRO and look....

Ok- There are two blend-door actuators. One is "Panel/Floor" actuator and one is the "Defrost" actuator. One of them is probably stuck on/off or somewhere in between. I would kick the A/C on high and set it to panel (the vents in the dash that blow on you). Then feel around on the passenger side and see if any cold air is coming out of the defrost vent (on top of the dash) or out the floor vents (under the dash). Let me know what you find.

Oh, and the A/C pretty much sucked all the time on my SRT-10. Even after the issue was fixed, the system still couldn't keep up with the FL Heat. It would start blowing warm at a long stop light. :dontknow:

Cody, Under the glove box you will see the blower motor and it is held up by 3 screws. Drop it down and see if a plastic blend door falls out in your hands if so a little prayer will go a long way.

Umbrella came out of one of your drinks and got stuck :D

Sounds like the blend door.

The A/C will not operate unless air in moving across the condensor, an aftermarket fan assembly will help when sitting at stop lights. Trust me I know texas heat is horrible! You can use the supplied temp prob or wire in directly with the compressor relay, I suggest the 2nd method. Bought at O'REILLYs for less than $100, not pro by any means but will def help. 108* the day of the photo... the date is wrong it was in last june. I look out of place don't I

sounds like you're low on freon. These trucks when slightly low on freon will blow cold on drivers and warm on passenger. Seen it a hundred plus times

If its low on freon it will eventually "freeze up" blocking the air with ice, but it would effect all the vents not just one side. Unless the driver side has a bigger supply duct than the passenger..I wouln't know.
Is the problem always there or when its been running for a while?

this is from the service manual from Dodge for trouble shooting A/C issues. This is the only Possible cause for warm air out of pass vents without a dual Climate Control system.

Condition
Constant compressor engagement and warm air from passenger vents.

Possible Causes
1. Low refrigerant system charge.

Correction
1. See Refrigerant System Leaks in this group. Test the refrigerant system for leaks. Repair, evacuate and charge the refrigerant system as required.

just drive from the passenger side cody:)

Ok. I have a similar problem. I hope someone can help. This is on my 04hemi ram tho. Replaced condenser two summers ago. Was working okay but now this is my problem as well.

1. Drivers side cooler than passenger side. I do have dual zone both on cold.
2. Blower is running at full force but the air doesn't come out strong at all. It actually gets worse then sometimes then a little better.
3. Sometimes frost comes out of one of the vents for a bit very cold.
4. This has me going crazy. I can change the direction of the fan from floor to face and to windshield but no matter which setting it's on, air always comes out at the floor.

Help me VTCOA, you're my only hope.

Cody, I feel your pain bro. Very frustrating.

Did you check the blend door? Any strange noise on the passenger side?
I am starting to sound like a broken record.
It can be only a few things. Blend door, other doors, freon

Where is this blend door? How do I access it?

If you look under the dash on the passenger side, you will see a motor. Remove that (3-4) screws and look to see if there is a flat piece of plastic (the blend door) that is broken off.

Freon, take a gauge to it or have a mechanic check it.

I understand that. The blend door being broken is doing what to the system? That can affect all these my issues?

Actually just read the link for the heater treater. Thanks. I hope to takes a look soon.
