Ordered my midpipes

Well guy's I broke down and ordered my midpipes with high flow cats from Justin today. I hope the pipes will make alittle more HP like 15 HP and not to loud. Andy from Dynotune is bringing his Dyno Jet back out to Sturgis so I'll put the truck back on the dyno and let you know how much more HP over the 446 HP it made last time. :burnout:

are u still rockin 4 cats, if so u might gain that, but it will proly not get any louder except under load at mid-high range. i took off my 2 remaining stock cats, put on LTH and HFC and u could not even tell at idol and below 15oorpm's. but when u open her up. OMG, smile from ear to ear.

run fake cats, open her up man.

I had a magnaflow muffler, it fell apart. junk.

They don't weld up fully. only tack welds here and there. was rated for 500hp to. but didn't hold up, Just saying.

My friend just went back to hi-flow cats from no cats. and he hates it now. much more quiet.

But hey what ever you want, it's your truck.

i can get u a clip. i have belanger headers too tho, so it will sound different. but at one point i had manifolds, front stock cats, no back cats or resignators, and a maggie. sounded great i though. nice rumble and pop.

BTSW: if u run no cats and u decide to put headers on, ur truck will sounhd kinda snappy and raspy. thise HFC help to deepen the tone. plus ur exhaust wont stink as bad. still stinks with HFC, but not as bad. just FYI

u know i might have a vid from b4 the headers. it would be as stated, factory exhaust minus 2 cats, res, and maggie catback. shoot me ur email, dont know how to post vids.

i just order me some mids pipes from jmb too. im going catless thou from 4 to none what sound and hp gains do you think ill see?

well the muffler i have is a tru-x perforated core.

it will be much raspier, higher piched, and louder, but proly not too loud as long as u got the maggie. you should proly feel a noticable gain going from all 4 to none. i would gues around 20hp,

hopefully someone who knows more about this stuff will chime in.
