I finally picked up the truck last night. In short ( because I could go on and on), the truck is just unreal. First the sound, it is absolutely incredible. I stopped at the gas station last night and within the first minute I had two guys come over and ask what motor was in the truck. Then at one of the stoplights I could tell there was an SUV behind me intentionally trying to listen to the exhaust. He then came up beside me and asked me to roll down my window and wanted to know what motor I had in the truck; how much horsepower I was making and what type of cam I was using. The video sound clips that Tony has floating around does not do this truck justice when you hear it in person. At idle the truck shakes because it is loping so hard. It makes me smile just thinking about it. Also the pictures of the motor don't do this truck justice. I popped the hood for the two guys at the gas station to view and both of their jaws just dropped. It is absolutely stunning. I could talk for days on the sound and on the appearance but I did say that this would be in short.
Power wise........ Damn! As some of you know I had a Harley Davidson truck back in 2002 that made 627 hp to the rear wheels. It was a very strong truck but it did not pull anywhere close to what this truck does in second and third gear. At the top of Secane gear it is almost like I have a shot of nitrous it pulls so hard. I am having to relearn where I can go full throttle and where I need to be a little more cautious, Because it can be a handfulvery quickly.
Okay the barber just showed up at the barber shop so I have to go. I may give some more details later. Tony you built a heckuva truck. I just don't think I could be any happier.
Also, the air bag kit that Tony installed works fantastic with Tony's lowering kit. As low as the truck is, whenever I had passengers or heavy luggage in the back, the truck would sit lower in the back than I wanted. But with the bags, I can adjust the height with a wireless remote. ....sweet!
